MEET DR. KONZELMAN
Human beings are wired for relationship- they shape us into who we are—for better and for worse. It is in relationship with others that we find life's most immense joys and also experience our greatest pain. Deciding to seek counseling can be overwhelming, yet many people who have gone through the process believe it is amongst their most rewarding decisions.
Dr. Konzelman has devoted herself to rigorous standards of education and training, completing dual Master's Degrees in Counseling and Clinical Psychology as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Her extensive clinical experience allows for effective work with individuals across the lifespan, including complex couples' and family issues. In addition to being in private practice, she most recently trained at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente's Los Angeles Medical Center.
Clinical experience has been gained in school systems (elementary through graduate), community counseling centers, non-profit organizations, foster care systems, inpatient drug & alcohol treatment centers, the Department of Mental Health, as well as acute, inpatient rehabilitation and psychiatric treatment in hospitals.
