Dr. Konzelman has devoted herself to rigorous standards of education and training, completing dual Master's Degrees in Counseling and Clinical Psychology as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association. She holds licenses as both a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Clinical Psychologist.
In addition to being in private practice, Dr. Konzelman most recently trained at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and in the Department of Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente's Los Angeles Medical Center. It was there that Dr. Konzelman completed an ADHD Rotation conducting assessments and leading treatment groups for individuals experiencing attentional issues. Dr. Konzelman has specific training in the neuropsychology of traumatic brain injury, aging and neurodegenerative conditions and attentional/ADHD.
Dr. Konzelman has experience in a wide range of treatment settings including school systems (elementary through graduate), community counseling centers, non-profit organizations, foster care systems, inpatient drug & alcohol treatment centers, the Department of Mental Health, as well as acute, inpatient rehabilitation and psychiatric treatment in hospitals.
