Dr. Konzelman has devoted herself to rigorous standards of education and training, completing dual Master's Degrees in Counseling and Clinical Psychology as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association. She holds licenses in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Psychology.
In addition to being in private practice, Dr. Konzelman most recently trained at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and in the Department of Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente's Los Angeles Medical Center. Dr. Konzelman completed specialty rotations in the areas of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Additionally, Dr. Konzelman has specific training in the neuropsychology of traumatic brain injury, aging and neurodegenerative conditions.
Dr. Konzelman has experience in a wide range of treatment settings including school systems (elementary through graduate), community counseling centers, non-profit organizations, foster care systems, inpatient drug & alcohol treatment centers, the Department of Mental Health, as well as acute, inpatient rehabilitation and psychiatric treatment in hospitals.
